Meet Purelight
Purelight is an independent coffee brand founded in British Columbia, serving customers across the United States. Our coffee is roasted by our partner in Bend, Oregon. We choose the lineup, explain what is in each coffee and help you find one that suits your taste.
Start with what you enjoy
For a smooth medium roast with roasted-nut and chocolate notes, try Smith River. Prefer fruitier coffee? Ethiopia Prime has berry and citrus notes. Flathead Valley is our bold dark-roast pod, and Trapper Peak offers a full-bodied decaf.
Choose whole bean for your grinder, ground coffee for fewer steps, or K-Cup-compatible pods for your brewer. We also carry instant coffee and Japanese matcha, each with its own preparation details.
Know what you are buying
Our coffee pages include origin, processing, roast and cupping information supplied by our roasting partner. For blends, the cupping scores describe the component coffees, not a separate score for the finished blend. They do not mean Purelight is certified by the Specialty Coffee Association. Instant coffee and matcha do not carry a coffee cupping score.
Roast profiles describe sample batches, not the batch in your order. Lab reports also apply to specific samples and tests; they do not cover every bag, and coffee reports should not be assumed to cover matcha. Our Sourcing & Testing page explains the details and how to request reports.
