Which coffee should I start with?
For a smooth everyday cup, try Smith River: a medium roast with praline notes. Choose Ethiopia Prime for blueberry and citrus, Flathead Valley for a rich dark-roast pod, or Trapper Peak for a mellow decaf. You can start with a one-time purchase.
Should I choose whole bean, ground or pods?
Whole bean lets you adjust the grind for your brewer. Ground arrives pre-ground. For espresso or a particular grind setting, choose whole bean. Our 12-count pods fit most Keurig and K-Cup brewers, but not Nespresso. Instant coffee dissolves in hot or cold water.
Is shipping included?
Yes. Every U.S. order ships free, even one bag or one box of pods. There's no minimum purchase. Any applicable taxes appear at checkout.
When will my coffee arrive?
Orders are usually prepared in 2 business days. USPS Ground typically takes another 3–4 business days after carrier pickup. Transit varies by carrier and destination, and holidays or delays can add time. We'll email your tracking link. Delivery dates are estimates; see our shipping policy for details.
Do I have to subscribe?
No. Choose a one-time purchase to try a coffee. When you've found a favorite, Subscribe & save takes 15% off every subscription order, including the first. Select the interval on the product page. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Read our subscription guide.
How do I change or cancel a subscription?
Use the management link in your subscription emails, or email us for help. There's no minimum number of orders or cancellation fee. Make changes before your next scheduled charge. Cancelling stops future renewals; an order already charged needs a separate cancellation request, which depends on its progress. See Manage Subscription.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and what went wrong. Photos help if you have them. Any longer reporting window shown when you ordered still applies. We'll review the issue for a replacement or refund. Food items cannot be returned for a change of mind or taste preference. See our return policy.
What do the scores and lab reports cover?
Our roasting partner provides the coffee details. For blends, listed cupping scores describe component coffees. Roast profiles are examples, and lab results cover only the samples tested. For available reports, email info@purelightcoffee.com. Our Sourcing & Testing page explains the details.
